There’s a rib trim on the sleeves, but it’s not even long enough to cover the back of the shoulder. The sleeves are long and wide, which is fine for some people but not great for others.
Another problem is the amount of black on this kit. It’s not just the sleeves, which are screened with a large block of red stripes and the sponsor logos. There’s a stripe of red lining the bottom of the kit, as well as a small rectangle of red stripes on the back of the kit. There’s even a sleeve badge in black on the left sleeve that seems a bit out of place.
The jersey is available in both authentic and replica versions. The Authentic version, which is worn by the players, features a unique fabric called ULTRAWEAVE that reduces seams and friction to help with elite-level performance. The replica jersey features a more comfortable fabric that incorporates PUMA’s dryCELL sweat-wicking technology.
